My name is Steve Widmark and I teach high school physics by day and make art and stuff  at night.  I also teach a course called "Electronics for Artists" at a place called The Crucible (http://www.thecrucible.org in Oakland CA.  I've exhibited my pieces in mostly Crucible sponsored shows.  I'm a self-taught artist (my degree is in physics) and so I learn as I go along.  I did take Christian Schiess's classes in neon sculpture at the Crucible and another Crucible course in plasma sculpture taught by Christian and Ed Kirshner (http://www.aurorasculpture.com).  Most of my stuff is representational and whimsical as opposed to abstract and serious.  I just have fun with it and don't worry too much about what people think.   Contact me through my e-mail at steve@paleoneon.com.
